Today was published the approval of the first supertall in the coastal city of Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, southern Brazil.
With 509 meters (1,670 feet) and 140 floors, The residential Triumph Tower will be Brazil's new tallest building, surpassing the twin skyscrapers Yachthouse Residence Club at 281 meters (922 feet) and 81 floors.
It will also surpass the Amazon Tall Tower Observatory, 325 meter tall (1,066 ft) tower to become the new tallest structure in South America.
