Saw a comment in an article on the Free Press site that the Tesla deal fell through and they are looking at other locations around London. The article was about Kosmos restaurant located downtown expanding into the former Porsche dealership on Oxford and it mentioned Tesla.

Was also news to me that Kosmos had new owners from last fall. The former owner is the daughter of Jimmy Agathos, formerly of the Huron House. Her son owns Dimi's, a couple doors up on Richmond. Not sure if they have any other restaurants in the family anymore. At various times, members of the family owned Icarus on Richmond (now Lou Dawgs), the Sweet Onion on Wortley and the Angry Goat in the Holiday Inn on Wellington and Southdale.

Probably far to big but the old Brick store on Wharncliffe would work for Telsa. I would think they would be able to find an underused commercial building along that auto dealer strip to meet their needs. There are a couple of underused buildings on Dundas St E near the airport auto dealer zone that could work too.

If they wanted to be in Northwest London, given where they were talking about going, then the obvious answer is the empty Oxford Dodge site across the road. It's a huge property though, and if they couldn't make a deal at the old Porsche location, then unless the owners are desperate at the former Dodge site, I can't see that working out either.

I think the old Brick is full. I think if they wanted to be on Wharncliffe, it would need to be a newbuild. It's the obvious area for them to be in, given all the high end brands are there, but I don't see any empty space suitable for car service along there right now.

Lots of heavy equipment on site this week, construction barrier up along the perimeter and moving dirt around.
Imagine the Tesla building will go ahead first?
