My read is it looks and reads great. My only suggestion is to use a book icon for the central library given it is slated for redevelopment and the pictorial represents the current design.

Those tweaks would be done.

Pretty satisfied what they came up with, happy to have three options in terms of cost. Most people seemed to like Option 2 last night, which is the rhomboid shape and medium cost option.

They've completed the way finding pilot in Goldbar park. Here are the three types for the river valley parks, the plinths at the entrances and in the parks for directions, and the trail markers for the multi use trails

Permanent ones are still forthcoming, but they are going to print a bunch of these on plasti-core to have them up and ready for this fall's Rogers Place rush. Permanent are likely in the spring.

These will be nice, I know when I am visiting a city, they are sure nice. For example, in London they have similar signs at the Barclay Bike stands and I am drawn to those a bit like moths to a flame.

Apparently signs are starting to go up and stickers as well with arrows pointing towards Rogers Place.

Awesome!

Fonts could have been a little larger at the bottom though...

I like these. I find the ones in London, UK, are very helpful, though they are really needed there due to the crazy street system. In a modern city like Edmonton the grid system is pretty easy to master: basically it is designed so that an outsider (eg. a businessman) can find their way around. In medieval London (and other pre-modern, pre-capitalist European cities), the point was to confuse an outside invading army! I think in Edmonton they will really be helpful in river-valley trails.

Anymore feedback on these? Are people seeing them out and about, are they helpful?

Seen them in a few places. They seemed noticeable, maybe just because of new things in places I often walk, but probably more than that. Have not really stopped to look at them, since they won't really help me on my home turf, though I completely understand they exist for someone else.

Few minor nitpicks. I would have preferred a three sided sign, while recognizing that would be more expensive. Plus, in the super minor bugs me anyway category, why do they have the sign post sticking up ~18 inches about the signage? It makes me feel they are unfinished.

^ Aren't these ones temporary until the real ones are ready in the fall?
