Amazing!

One of the unique things about SF is just how bright its buildings are... they all seem to be bright whites and pastels... doesn't seem to be any red brick buildings, for example...

The details so thick, the perspectives so grand, I can lose myself for hours in here. Seriously entertaining stuff.

No doubt one of the best cities in the world.

Was this taken on Telegraph Hill?

Awesome photos of both downtown and the neighborhoods, including some of my stomping grounds. Bravo.

There isn't much brick like in eastern cities because of the earthquake risk to "unreinforced masonry construction" but there are a few glorious examples of brick construction from the turn of the century before we worried about such things. One of the major projects in the city right now is the Ritz Carlton Residences project on Market St. which involves a vertical addition and restoration of the exuberantly brick DeYoung Building (DeYoung was the family name of the family which has long owned the San Francisco Chronicle and endowed the city's major art museum, The DeYoung Museum):

Anyway, let me add my praise to everyone else's for ColDay's collection.

I'd love to see some of those gems, BT.

Amazing colors you have captured Mr. Dayman. I love the pics of the chinatown area... Very colorful and beautiful.

Your skills are impressive.

I think San Francisco is the United States's Tokyo.
