I haven't been here in years, and Blue Jays had the day off last night so it seemed a good time to revisit. I never actually walked down this street before because it was only built 20 years ago, and mostly lined with greenfields until recently. You can see there are still buildings under construction.
More from earlier this evening, this time the new Sheridan College campus, consisting of two buildings. One built years after the other and there is a new semi-pedestrianized street between them, which of course just had to be named after the mall.
Thanks guys. I look at all the pictures I took and I can say the second car, in the distance, was actually about to pull into a parking spot, not parking in the bike lane. So just one car parked in the bike lane.
More and more people cycling in Mississauga now, but it is still a new thing, so there is some motorists overly cautious. Even so, seems like almost every day cyclist or pedestrian gets killed in the GTA. 13 year old girl died cycling in Ajax just yesterday. But yes, Doug Ford, let's think about the car drivers instead.
Sorry ads on SSP really slow down my browser now but I will try to keep this thread updated occasionally. I still want to photograph the new redesigned square in front of city hall, and of course you can see some buildings near completion. Maybe next year, if I don't get hit by a car because of Doug Ford's bike lane ban.
