LAFAYETTE, LA | Seven16 Lafayette Towers | 260 FT | 20 FLOORS

"A new 20-floor, $140 million multi-use set of high rises, called Seven16 Lafayette Towers, are coming soon to 716 Lafayette Street in Downtown Lafayette."

"The purchase of the land will close by end of 2021 and with a tentative construction start date on the first tower in early 2022. The project is expected to be completed by 2024."

Just looked at Lafayette, LA, on Google Street View. Yikes! Not a pretty city. So this building just adds to the tradition.

The Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist though is breathtaking:

Speaking of Dubai, as an aside, it’s no longer skyscrapers and sand (or so went the derision). It’s evolved into a rather amazing place.

New renderings of the Seven 16 Lafayette tower and news of a 4 star hotel will take up 6 floors. This project looks good so for, hopefully it gets built. It will definitely add to the city and maybe it will be the catalyst downtown Lafayette desperately needs.
