Surprised this substantial development hasn't been posted here yet. No set designs yet.

I like it a lot! A natural extension of City Place at least in terms of size and scale... And probably banality but whatever... Still beats the 'burbs...

Resubmitted with an additional 1,800 units. Project now up to 7,986 residential units across 9 towers.

Tallest will be 786ft / 239m. 7 over 500ft / 150m.

This project is getting met with great skepticism by experts in the field however as it's construction would be extremely complex given it's location over one of the busiest rail yards on the continent. This is Toronto's Hudson Yards in a lot of ways, but it's being led by a developer who mostly does strip malls in the suburbs.. so people are skeptical.

The design is clearly a zoning exercise at this point, so we'll have to see if any of it actually comes to fruition.
