Beautiful Los Angeles Views from Palos Verdes

I hope you enjoy the few pictures I took. Mainly I was just waiting around for our guest visitors take their pictures and decided to capture a few myself.

Very cool. I want to go there and check it out when I'm back. Can you describe how to get to this viewpoint?

I forget the name of the street, but I'll look it up on a map and PM it to you.

Actually ColDayMan (black jacket) is the guy stooped down next to Gatorbitch (white sweatshirt). The guy with the huge lens is Parodox21.

Great shots. Its worth a mention that this is the heart of coastal LA. If California did not have the type of coastal building restrictions that other places have, this coast would be lined with highrises.
Does anyone know exactly what the Coastal Commission restrictions are. I know they work extremely hard to insure access and protect view corridors.....

Absolutely breathtaking. I remember stopping at a friends house there. One of the most beautiful communities I ever set foot end. The views are mindblowing. Thanks once again ChrisLA.

My brother lives on top of the hill (at the end of Crenshaw). It's a suburban paradise yet relatively close to some very nice urban areas - the Pacific Riviera, San Pedro, Long Beach, e.g.

Would high rises work along the Santa Monica Bay? If you could ever get past the NIMBYs, you'd still need to get effective mass transit in place. There was a Red Car line running down the South Bay beach towns that's now a "jogging trail". It makes me crazy to think how we left so many wonderful urban opportunities flounder for want of effective leadership.
