Took a walk between offices this morning with camera in hand and realized it was the first time I had taken city photos since last summer
Many apologies...but things are really getting exciting around here now that Midland Square is nearing its public opening (Toyota and others moved into offices first week of the year) and two other towers are still under construction.
current location: standing on Nishiki-dori looking west toward Meieki
various angles forming from deep in the shadows below the expressway on Nishiki nearing the Yanagibashi fish market (got to shoot that early in the morning one of these days)
Nayabashi Aqua Town making a nice wall in the distance for Kazuma alley
opposite direction with the new fashion tower under construction
looking east toward the expressway from Nishiki with recently relocated bicycle parking at right
Midland Square from the bottom of the food court stairs at the Century Toyota building
the backside of Midland Square is very nondescript with Pachinko parlors and game centers across the street
Midland Square's main entrance for Toyota HQ fronts the street across from the JR Central Towers
the Nagoya monolith rises
from this angle the panoramic SkyWalk can be seen at the top - it will open to the public on March 2nd
one of the many ways JR endeavors for on-time performance. I didn't know LEGO made Japanese schoolgirls
more to come soon!
