LARGE satellite shots !

I noticed the other day that Local.Live had some quality satellite-level zooms from pretty much everywhere on Earth now, and that got me thinking about making a comparison thread. The scale for each one of these is identical. For some reason, Paris is based on a 9 mile scale, Moscow a 15 mile, and Shanghai an 8 mile scale, so for the sake of even comparisons I had to leave those cities out.

Please excuse the crappy cropping in some places, but I wanted to make sure the 10 mile scale was seen in each photo.

London

Los Angeles

The Pearl River Delta: Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau, Guangzhou

Sao Paulo

Beijing

New York City

Kansai-Chubu: Osaka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Kobe, Nara (scroll over)---->

Then it became as important not to look as to look, I feared I would be lost in rush of bronze motes."

Sao Paulo truly blows my mind. Nearly 18 million people live in that dense blob of light grey.
