Glass walkways/skywalks in Chicagoland?

I’m looking for glass walkways in Chicago for filming. I know these requests might be annoying, but you guys have helped me before. Most notably on a shoot I did that involved Devil’s Lake in Wisconsin. It was the first place you guys mentioned, and the one they went with in the end.

That being said, this glass walkway is meant to replace a glass walkway at a school in Park Ridge that may no longer be available. I’m already aware of walkways at O’Hare, Wintrust Arena, and McCormick Place. Private buildings and buildings with less red tape for permission are preferred. Payment and insurance are always provided. Filming is currently scheduled for April 20th. A scout would have to visit for photographs.

The location cannot be more than 30 miles from Dearborn and Madison in the Chicago loop.

Probably the best one I can think of is between the Chicago Board of Trade and the Options Exchange buildings that traverses the CTA elevated tracks. . .

I did find this one when I did a Google Earth scout. Board of trade is a bit of a process.

… yeah saw your second post too. No worries.

Oh just reading the entirety of your post I would have to say anything at the Rush complex might be useful. . .

There is a glass walkway/connection on the second floor of the Michael Jordan's restaurant in the InterContinental hotel on Michigan Ave, but that's just a small interior bridge, and may not be what you're looking for.

This one sounds promising, but I can’t find a picture online, and I don’t see a glass walkway on google earth. You have any more details?

UC hospital has quite a few. Check out the intersection of Maryland and 58th on street view, as an example. Some on campus too (e.g. the building I work in has one across 57 st at 57th and Ellis).

I did see that, and while it's very awesome, it would have been too high and logistically complicated. We ended up filming at Teamster City (union HQ), which is literally around the corner.

I’ve always been surprised Chicago doesn’t have more skywalks. They seem to be ubiquitous in other Midwest cities. My only guess is because Chicago blocks are so large, you rarely see interconnected single tenants across several blocks. I seem to recall Wrigley Field wanting to build a skywalk linking the 2nd level commercial spaces in the hotel, part of the renovation but the city wouldn’t have it
