are places like this near the city center and are these open areas mostly developed now?



scandinavia is my favorite european region even though i've only ever been to oslo & amsterdam.

^Yes, that boulevard is very central, just outside the old city. It must really have been a great building boom just after that pic was taken. It's fully developed by now and is considered a very attractive area to live in. On this aerial you can see the street highlighted. The old photo is taken from the top of the church that is in the middle of the street.
