EASTON | The Confluence (185 S. Third Street) | FT | 6 FLOORS (285 Units)

Project: 185 S. Third Street

Quote:
Bethlehem-based Peron Development plans to build the 285-unit residential project at 185 S. Third St., on the site of the former Days Inn.

In addition to its apartments and condominium units, The Confluence will include retail space, dining, a movie theater and art space in partnership with ArtsQuest of Bethlehem.

The commission voted unanimously in favor of The Confluence. The project still needs final approvals from other city boards and commissions, including zoning and the historic district commission, as well as the Lehigh Valley Conservation District, Callahan said, but it is still on track to break ground this fall.

Recently Completed: Air Products HQ (1940 Air Products Blvd, Allentown, PA 18106)

This was recently wrapped up. Looks amazing at night. Very large HQ. Right on Mill Creek Road (makes sense that a Hyatt would pop up given the needs for visitors or business).

So happy to see this thread

In Allentown, both City Center and The Waterfront have construction cams

Air Products HQ looks great. I am concerned about the old HQ, more warehouses it looks like? How about some desperately needed housing units?

There's a lot of 3PL's going up (heading West along I-78 as well as of recent).

Taken today. Construction supplies/piping is present. I presume another warehouse. This is on Ruppsville Road. Border of Allentown/Upper Macungie.

Right near Uline. You can see Airgas in the distance.

I'm going on a side note this weekend try to capture some of the activity in Forks township. There's several units u/c there. Townhomes/rentals. Right along Newlins Road.

Thumbs up

I live in Springfield Township Upper Bucks Counter, have a Coopersburg mailing address so do majority of my grocery shopping at the Giant in Coopersburg, plus Hellertown is near by as well, another Giant, the Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem also has construction going on as well, plus when I went to St. Luke's Bethlehem Hospital saw a lot of development going on on 412, I don't get over there to often hate the traffic at 412 and I-78.

Thank you for starting this thread, I drove on the American Parkway and saw the activity driving up to Airport Road.

What is happening on Airport Road? I hope the Waffle House is okay!

I will just add, with maybe a couple exceptions, most of the new construction (in center city) is pretty awful. To quote Stephen A Smith "Howeva!" compared to what is was like in the 90s, this is an unimaginable improvement. I grew up in the West End and there was absolutely no reason to go there. Now there is.

Waffle House is fine, I was at BJ's for gas, I was talking about in general you can see the development as I was driving along from 309 in Center Valley, thru 145 to the American Parkway, City of Allentown can be seen in the back ground.

With Quakertown booming with more retail and restaurants I rarely head to Whitehall or Airport Road for shopping anymore.

Thank you for setting this up so quickly, Chris! If my family were ever to return to the US, I would strongly consider ABE/LV due to the many historic areas, this new energy-vibe going on, and the overall geographic setting.

Riverview Estates Forks Township - Northampton County, PA (216 lots)

Might as well include where I'm at.

This is still on-going but over the years, has filled in. Phase 5 is still in the works.

Quote:
This large scale project involves individual and town house layouts for each of the 216 lots on the 125 acre project. The project was designed to be constructed in 5 phases. Terraform has been performing construction support services including individual lot layouts and grading, deed descriptions, as built surveys, and individual lot approvals.

Upper Mount Bethel Township | River Pointe Commerce Park

Project: River Pointe Commerce Park

Quote:
River Pointe Commerce Park is a proposed industrial development that will attract world-class manufacturers to Upper Mount Bethel Township

River Pointe Commerce Park will create an estimated 4,000+ good-paying jobs while generating much-needed tax revenue for our town and schools by increasing real estate tax revenue and earned income tax.

River Pointe Commerce Park provides 5 miles of publicly accessible walking trails and 50 acres of preserved woodlands. Smartly designed, the site’s undulating topography will tuck new buildings out of view behind rolling hills, much like the 250,000-square-foot manufacturing facility also on River Road that Lamtec Corporation opened a decade ago.

In addition, the developer will work with tenants to help achieve a broad array of sustainability goals through future solar, e-vehicle, and zero-carbon initiatives that can be easily accomplished at the time of construction.
