My gut is that option to build something on top of the new Music Hall garage. I keep hearing that over and over.

I would be SHOCKED if Obie comes back with a 20 story building.

What I want to know is what is happening with the Fox Theatre renovation. They announced that 2 years ago (yea its been 2 years) and I've heard zero movement on that.
I am hoping at least 15 stories with the added parking garage based on the transcripts, but we will see in about 2 weeks. I think they might have a presentation at the end of this month considering they were a part of the discussion meeting on 10/8.

I don't have a link or source to back this up, but I thought I read somewhere that the Fox Theatre expansion won't begin until 2025 anyways because they were doing fundraising all of 2024. Here is a link to their brochure campaign which is current as of March 2024.

I also noticed they changed the design on the Fox theater expansion pictured on the brochure from designs 2 years ago. Putting them side by side, I wonder which one they will use?

Well, I hope it is the one on the left. IMHO it is more open to the street, more inviting, a little less fortress like, and therefore does a better job of improving the streetscape.

The rendering on the right reminds me of one of the antler arches on the main square in downtown Jackson, Wyoming.
