Masonry contractor now installing the exterior brick on the south wall upto the 3 floor using a climbing swing station rig. Will likely take a few months to install the brick around the entire building.

Have now reached the 6th floor level on the south wall with exterior brick installation. Windows and balcony door installation appears to be complete now and the roofing contractor appears to be wrapping up. Interior contractors for electrical, plumbing and HVAC are busy roughing in their stuff for the interior partition walls. Would expect drywall to be starting now on the lower floors. Should have tenants by end of year.

Wrapping up the exterior brick on the SE corner strip facing Pond Mills Rd. Using a two color pattern around the windows and balcony areas to break up the tan brick color. Should be starting on the NE corner facing Pond Mills next week as they continue to work their way around the building to install the exterior brick veneer.

Masonry contractor continues to work on the NE corner and north wall installing brick. Up to the 3rd floor level now. Will likley be working into the new year to finish the exterior brickwork. A lot of grading work for the driveway and parking lot happening this week as they appear to be prepping for curbs and walkway and eventually paving.

They have now completed the north side wall exterior brick install. Setting up hydraulic lift to start brick install on the west side. It will likely take them until end of April to complete the exterior brick on the west side.

Only two floors left on south wall to install exterior brick veneer. With good weather this week the brick installation should be done leaving only the final touch ups.

LFP article on the nearing completion of this 12s building with a nice photo.

Southside Construction was the general contractor.

The tower at 99 Pond Mills Rd. cost $28 million to build and Homes Unlimited received about $24 million from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp.

Of note they are still working on the planning for their building at the SOHO site. Currently no work has begun there yet although they had a ground breaking ceremony last Fall and said they hoped to start this Spring.
