Council approved PenEquity's requested zoning changes at their meeting on Jan 23rd (warehousing/distribution, craft brewery along with other lower impact light industrial uses).

Well that didn't happen

It's kinda interesting going back and reading the first few posts of this thread when it was made almost 14 years ago and one of the first concerns mentioned was "retail saturation", which ended up being true, as all these years later... this very development never materialized. There are so many retail plazas in this very part of the city (Wellington to the north and south of the 401).

I truly wonder what will end up being developed here

Spirit Halloween setting up shop in the old Costco for this season, moving up the road from the old gym a block south.
