I guess this is a no go at least at the current height? The design was boring so I guess it's alright.

Somewhat off topic but a Tribune editorial related to development mentioned its support for aldermanic prerogative. Good luck moving beyond this system

Sad to see in a city like Chicago, seems they have too much power already. Just to think that a supertall could have been rising at 400LSD right now.

The Calatrava Tower failed because the developer bit off more than he could chew. Had nothing to do with the city.

The replacement was also slated to be a supertall.

Absolutely maddening, that site deserved better; hopefully it doesn’t affect this project as well. Aldermanic prerogative has got to go.
