Halifax Public Gardens

I was in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick for the Memorial Day weekend down in the US. I had explored Halifax before a couple years ago, so I didn't have too much of Halifax in my plans in the city. It was really just a stopping off point before seeing other parts of Nova Scotia before moving onto New Brunswick. I had seen Halifax Public Gardens before, but since my other trip to Halifax was in August, I figured I might as well stop by for an hour since most flowers and trees were in full bloom.

Lovely park.

Do you have enough photos for a Halifax city thread?
The past 5-ish years Halifax has become one of the fastest growing Metros in Canada

Gorgeous! The most beautiful gardens I've ever seen are Butchart Gardens outside of Victoria, BC, but these look very pretty too. I've only been to Halifax once, about 25 years ago, but I'd love to go back!

Had the pleasure of coming across this beautiful sanctuary on my trip in '03. What a wonderful place for all to enjoy.

Yes I've see pictures of Butchart even though I've never been to BC. It seems to be enhanced by a lot of natural elements like exposed rockwall and surrounding forest. It was a former quarry iirc.

Don't ask people not to debate a topic. Just stop making debatable assertions. Problem solved.
