Excellent! Glad you had some good weather, cause April and much of May were rainy.
You were lucky. Or you brought the sunshine to us, lol.
Don't you like the color and texture of clay on those tennis courts? When I was a kid, I used to play tennis on clay courts. I've never been really good at it anyway. Tennis is a hard game to play, huh.
When clay courts would go too dry because of sunlight, we had to water them a little bit. That would take only a couple of minutes but if I remember well, it actually requires much maintenance.
There was a couple of employees in charge of that at the tennis club.
Just out of curiosity, was the Novotel of the Front de Seine worth the money? It's the red tower in picture 125, built in 1976 and renovated in 2002.
According to critics online, the staff and amenities would be alright, or even fine and friendly, but the mall at Beaugrenelle and the neighborhood at street level look like they could do better for the price to pay, cause this is no cheap area.
To be honest, I never go to that spot. I might visit it one of these days, just to see it for myself.
Don't be scared to report about anything wrong to us. Criticism is helpful and appreciated.

Oh, you know, Central Paris is not meant to change very much.
It might just be cleaner now than it was 20 years ago. There are scaffoldings here, there and everywhere in town to clean up old buildings.
Right now, they're cleaning up the facade of the Louvre in rue de Rivoli, the Madeleine church and the parliament... That's about it, business as usual.
The suburbs are changing, on the other hand.
