I feel like screening this parking deck would be so easy and cost so little. Its crazy they are comfortable leaving it like that. And the city is apparently cool with it too...

There is actually a newer rendering in this AJC article with what I think is some decent screening.

Looks like AMTRAK may be back on The Gulch location drive. I was hoping they would pick the Randal Brothers site and incorporate it into Atlantic Station and sell the air rights. Seems this would be a much easer plus less expensive option.
With the new infrastrucuture law in place and delivering over a trillion dollars over the next decade it seems like the perfect time for Atlanta and Amtrak to create a new passengar rail hub in downtown Atlanta. Unrelatedly, I've been wondering why the city of Atlanta hasn't reached out to the Federal government for help with its recent water woes? Seems like a great time to invest in an infrastructure project like that especially given that all eyes will be on downtown Atlanta next summer for the World Cup. Is there a plan in place to replace those pipes?
I still don't understand why Toll Brothers opted out of screening on the north side of Kinetic and Momentum, yet decided to do so on the south side which no one can see.

Has to be some belief that the adjacent lots will be developed eventually that made them not want to spend the money. Those lots are sandwiched between 3 major midtown developments that are shifting the center of gravity in midtown. Its bound to happen.
Looks like a couple of workers have hug 20 or so sheets of plywood. So I'm betting we will see the finishing touches in a couple of decades or so.
I suspect Eleventh Street Pub should encounter the LEAST amount of red tape applying for the water cutoff assistance funds. CITY of ATL: Can you prove you suffered loss of business or damage?
