I have always though a Supertall right on the waterfront would be a middle finger to the rest of the nation. Hey, you eff off for underestimating us. Balmor bro.

LOL. The city does have a few +500' buildings approved/planned around the Inner Harbor but honestly once you start getting over that height it becomes rather redundant from the ground so I'd personally much rather the city continue it's infill.

Speaking of infill, Phase II of Rash Field got approved and construction starts in the fall.

Maryland's governor, Wes Moore, announced the Red line (which was cancelled by Larry Hogan in 2015), will be light-rail.

The long road ahead for Baltimore’s revived Red Line

"Gov. Wes Moore and other officials gathered Friday to celebrate a decision to build a light rail line to connect East and West Baltimore. But officials must decide whether to build a tunnel under downtown and identify funds to cover the $3 billion to $7 billion price tag.

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott sported a red T-shirt emblazoned with the words “Red Line.” Holly Arnold, the administrator of the Maryland Transit Administration, showed up in a red dress.

And when Gov. Wes Moore delivered the words that those gathered wanted to hear — “The new Baltimore Red Line will run on light rail transit” — the red-dressed crowd erupted in applause..."
