I really hope she becomes the next LPC leader. She has a lot of similarities to Kamala Harris and is someone who doesn't let others push her around. She would be a refreshing change from JT and I'd love to see her debate PP.

She can definitely have both of those portfolios. It is unusual for a minister to have both the treasury board and a department but it's within the rules.

Obviously.

PP has decided to label the former agreement between the Liberals and NDP as a carbon-tax coalition. It has never been about the carbon tax. The carbon tax was not a key objective of that agreement. To say otherwise is dishonest.

PP believes the carbon tax is the number one issue in Canada. It is not.

I think the NDP and Bloc demonstrated they will do what they think is best and will not be pushed around or intimidated by the Conservatives. Well done.

If PP wants to get the Bloc and NDP onside, he needs to go to them and present a compelling argument for why they should align with the Conservatives. Being a bully is not going to help his cause.

Clearly the Liberals behind the scene presented a more compelling case.

It is within the rules in the sense that there are no rules.
