There was some discussion of a project there years ago, but I don't recall the details. The City's new permit portal is not as good with non-specific permit searches as the old one. Do you have any other details like the developer or the address? Nothing came up with a search of the 4770 MLK address that Pizza Hut used, but the new project could be using a Guadalupe address.

I found it. I had the MLK address wrong. It's a 14-story, 167' Home 2 Suites. The new permit portal doesn't allow links, so I can't link to the site plan.

Think I remember reading about that project a few months ago, it's the former 'The G' apartments on Guad that are being redeveloped into a Home2

That's a different project. This one is facing MLK.

Since posting site plan links and attached files doesn't work anymore, search for site plans with a street name of Martin Luther King with a date range of 06/01/24 until now. Under folders there will be a a redline file with the site plan. The site location info will be in that file.

Here it is. You'll have to create an account to access permit data. The address being used for this project is 305 Martin Luther King.

I slapped this map together showing the location. The Tru by Hilton is the G Apartments conversion to hotel.

Driving south on Guadalupe it’s going to look like a grand entrance into downtown. Nice canyon effect.
