I usually try to visit a Freddy's whenever I'm in Fargo or Minneapolis. They're very good burgers that go well with their fried cheese curds. Fries with fry sauce or cheese fries are also good sides. Hopefully, they can duplicate the items as best they can in Canada.

Glad Winnipeg doesn't have to wait 10-15 years for locations to appear as other chains slowly expand in Canada (Shake Shack, Jersey Mike's, Church's Texas Chicken, Chick-fil-A).

Bob Evans is one place I would love to see here.
Great quality. It has given huge competition to Perkins, IHOP, Applebee's & Dennys.
I also would like to see some others but unlikely...Marche Movenpick, Cheesecake Factory.

Looks like a new bar and/or restaurant getting ready to open on the main floor of the newest James Ave Pumphouse residential tower.

It’s called Saintuary, it’s a cafe, art gallery and event space. Same owner as Saint barbershop at 330 Waterfront.

Very cool. I like the garage door style patio it looks like it will have. That and the shade from the building should make it a very inviting place in the summer.
