London Series – 2019

Major League Baseball: London Stadium to host two fixtures in 2019
BBC Sport | 8 May 2018 | https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/baseball/44038752

Quote:
The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox will play each other in two Major League Baseball regular season games at the London Stadium in 2019.

The matches, which will be held on 29 and 30 June, will be the first MLB games to be staged in Europe.

MLB says it intends to play again in 2020 and establish "a long-term footprint in the city".
A rather interesting - if unsurprising - development noting the activities of the NFL over the years. The London (Olympic) Stadium will be configured for a capacity of 55,000. I note as well that the MLB's Commissioner Rob Manfred also has aspirations for London to become home to a permanent franchise one day. If such a situation materialised, it up with a dedicated high-capacity baseball venue
