It's been a slow two weeks for any exciting news / updates. Just a few small things -
Kalamazoo -
Downtown Justice Facility - Current screen grab of the construction camera. Temporary weather protection is up on floors 1 & 2. Spray-on fireproofing is being applied to structural steel on these levels. You can see some exterior insulation & weatherproofing being applied at grade too. The block stair towers have risen a little since the previously-posted shot. On a vacant lot 2 blocks west (
here), I noticed a soil boring rig up and running last week. Not sure what that's about, but it appeared to be conducting some soil tests in that area. The lot is currently being used as construction staging for the justice center.
