I read a rumor yesterday that the shuttered
West Lake Drive-In has been purchased by a developer that intends to build townhouses there after this summer season is over. In the interim, Food Truck "Rollin Soul" is renting some parking space there. A lot of folks are bummed that this nostalgic place is gone and will not be saved by a new owner. It closed before COVID really took hold. Here are some MLive photos from early 2020 -
