Too long to wait for condo strata to install charging units for residence. I think that is one of the factors stopping me from trying to get an EV. Without the critical mass from owners with EVs, I don't think Stratas are going to budge or initiate anything, and hence it becomes a chicken and an egg problem.

Talked to Jerry Kroll of Meccanica before, and he was telling me that he wanted to try getting the City to install a new type of streetside parking meters that include individual charging stations. That would be great for owners who don't get charging stations in their condos. After a certain time at night, EV owners can just park their cars out on the streets to be charged. So far haven't heard anything from the green-washed City, planners only seem to implement green ideas halfheartedly.
