This route was brought on to compete directly with Allegiant's new AUS-ABQ route.

Also, this route is "seasonal" and will only fly once a week (on Sundays). However, as the article states (and was reiterated in articles in AAS and ABJ) that the "seasonal" could get lifted and/or more flights be added to the route...should the demand exist.

This one will be interesting to watch.
