thin point towers stacked close together plus the topography gives an impression of a Manhattan scaled skyline. Design is part of civic duty and it shows

3. Calgary

densely packed, huge commercial towers dominating surrounding residential point towers and mid rises. Massive from some angles; rather small from others. The Bow tower impresses greatly and several others are quite pleasing but, lacking compared to others with older more established skylines.

4. Montreal

large with good character with some top notch towers. Needs more height. The current crop of 400+ footers under construction could propel it to 3rd.

Um Scotia Plaza... Early 90s? IMO the nicest office tower in the country. My bad it was 88... 26 years ago. Wow time flies.
