For sure, renting a full sized apartment at 2-4 people is way cheaper than on campus. The way I'm reading this proposal, 150 some units, 500 beds, I'm seeing a dorm style residence, not an apartment building. If they charge more than Carleton for a bed in a dorm, without the meal plan, that would not make any sense. But if this they charge around 1600$ for a basic 2 bedroom, 800ish square foot apartments, then it would be worth it.

I'd like to take a look at the floor plans to better understand the concept.
