I would give up driving a luxury vehicle any day to avoid all of these 30km per hour vehicles on the roads these days (the ones that think wet roads are slippery roads or they just dont buy winter tires). The train is luxury and the views are amazing. One of the best things is flying over the traffic jams. Another is getting in shape as opposed to sitting on your flat ass in a car every day. Clean air is always a plus too.
I hope most people can see the benefits of LRT in their neighborhood. If not, someone will always be there to fill the seats.
I remember taking the train to the SAIT station to get home and watching the daily traffic jams below, especially the days where the roads were icy and no one could get up the hill. I just sailed over, got home early and watched all of the people on the news struggling to get home until about 8 or 9 pm.
