I doubt that there will be any charge for tickets to the game in Dundas. Even if there were to be a charge, it would probably be something nominal that would get donated to a charity. And the arena probably seats less than a couple of thousand people anyway, so even if tickets were to be sold at 50 bucks a pop, revenue would still amount to something in the tens of thousands of dollars.

My point in an around about way is the NHL wants nothing to do with the city of Hamilton and the Leafs have asserted their rights to this territory by charging promoters to stage pre season games here in the past.

Now a part of the city of Hamilton has been chosen as Hockeyville and been awarded a pre season game. I wonder if Gary Bettman knows that Dundas is part of Hamilton. Given the recent shenanigans involving the NHL and the Phoenix situation and the fact that he has made it quite clear that he wants nothing to do with this city, I would love to know his reaction once he finds out Dundas is actually in Hamilton.
