Kalamazoo -
The rebuilt Michikal Street is on-pace to reopen at the end of the month. Pictured below are some photos of the base paving work, which began last week. The much-improved streetscape includes a wide, non-motorized, concrete pathway, separated from the driving lanes by a curb and landscaping strip. This pathway is located on the opposite side of the street from where the previous pathway was; making it much easier for pedestrians & cyclists trying to connect from the universities -
