Does say, 7-Eleven, a Texas based American retail conglomerate with almost 85,000 locations around the globe really need more money?
7-11 is Japanese owned, based on the articles I've read about Canada's Couche-tard trying a takeover bid.

It's retail business of a commercial product. It is the most appropriate situation in which to apply the principles of capitalism. Whoever best convinces customers the spend there, with price/selection/service/convenience, gets the money. "Need" is not a factor.
