...ugh! come on guys... you're not following the format i tried hard to emphasize.
---> PICTURE (not massive) ---> BUILDING NAME ---> link to photo credit and one per post. if we all stick to the format, we'll have an organized and clean thread that is easy to view. a post with random huge photos is just hard on the brain and lacks clarity. |

Besides, your tiny little pictures don't do justice to your content. |

This is the kind of stuff that got me interested in architecture. It seems like such a simple thing - stairs. But when a simple object or part of a building can be made into something so unthinkably artistic, it makes for amazing architecture.

Definitely. Great thread. I guess I'll have to head to the SPL to take shots of all the stairs. I'd love to see all kinds of stairs in this thread.
Kevin, that Texas Capitol one is amazing! |
ahhh! thanks kevin! at least someone at least tried to maintain some type of format...
that first capitol one is nice. i love the semi-garish banisters. the second one isn't exactly stair porn though... it took me a second to even see stairs in the picture. :haha: and i love the banality of the parking lot stair. but i tend to love raw things. |
