Beautiful, as always.

Indeed. A place I want to go. Or maybe a place I'd go live.

n'Ice.

I have such great memories from that amazing country. Would love to go back again.
This thread was superb. |
Great pics of an interesting place. Always wanted to go to Iceland and it seems like 75% of my friends and acquaintances have been in the past few years. It's basically a Sigur Ros song come to life. Which is understandable I suppose, since they are from there...

wow

I need to get out there someday. Great photos!
|
It really does feel out of this world.

Very cohesive set. Great work

Great pics! I'm loving the street scenes!

Reykjavík seems pretty urban, I like it.
|
Absolutely stunning! I really want to visit now
|
I had no idea it was this nice. Just got caught up on street view. My new dream visit!

Yeah it's a great little city. Dense, bustling, stylish, a little eccentric - feels a lot more metropolitan in scale than you would expect for a city of just 200,000. Whereas most cities of that size seem to feel like overgrown towns, lacking the critical mass to replicate the features of a larger centre; Reykjavik feels like a big northern European city, but in miniature. It has all the "city stuff", just at a smaller scale. |
Certainly moved up a few spots in the top 5 places on my list to go, stunning. Our direct flight has led to an incredible amount of folk from here go explore that beautiful land.

Holy shit these are stellar shots Monkey. A friend from Germany toured the Icelandic coast on horseback last year. Fascinating landscapes.
|
Wow! Just Wow! What a beautiful place that you captured so well with those amazing photos.
|
Great stuff mate!
|
Incredible set of pics. The scale of people to the landscape is a plus to appreciate the natural wonders. Thanks for sharing your trip.
