Went to Iceland. Drove around the whole island. It was nice.

Indeed. A place I want to go. Or maybe a place I'd go live.

Great pics of an interesting place. Always wanted to go to Iceland and it seems like 75% of my friends and acquaintances have been in the past few years. It's basically a Sigur Ros song come to life. Which is understandable I suppose, since they are from there...

Yeah it's a great little city. Dense, bustling, stylish, a little eccentric - feels a lot more metropolitan in scale than you would expect for a city of just 200,000. Whereas most cities of that size seem to feel like overgrown towns, lacking the critical mass to replicate the features of a larger centre; Reykjavik feels like a big northern European city, but in miniature. It has all the "city stuff", just at a smaller scale.

Certainly moved up a few spots in the top 5 places on my list to go, stunning. Our direct flight has led to an incredible amount of folk from here go explore that beautiful land.

Holy shit these are stellar shots Monkey. A friend from Germany toured the Icelandic coast on horseback last year. Fascinating landscapes.

Incredible set of pics. The scale of people to the landscape is a plus to appreciate the natural wonders. Thanks for sharing your trip.
