Wingst is a small municipality in the district of Cuxhaven located in the far-north of Lower Saxony. It is included in the greater municipality of Samtgemeinde (inclusive community) Am Dobrock, which includes six other municipalities.
The municipality is situated just south of the mouth of the Elbe river.
