Kargow is a very small municipality located in the district of Müritz, in the south-central section of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania. It is part of the greater municipality of the Amt Seenlandschaft Waren (Seenlandschaft Waren Office). The municipality is situated in the pristine Mecklenburg Lakes District (Mecklenburgische Seenplatte).
