Vallendar is a small city and air spa town in the district of Mayen-Koblenz located in the far-east of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate. It's part of the Verbandsgemeinde (Association Community) of the same name, which includes the towns of Niederwerth, Urbar, Weitersburg, as well as the city of Vallendar.
The city is situated on the westbank of the Rhine, approximately 6 kilometers north of the independent city of Koblenz.
