St. George is a city located in, and the county seat of, Washington County in the very southwestern corner of Utah. It is the principal city of the St. George MSA. The MSA had the distinction of being declared the fastest growth metropolitan Area in county in 2004. The city serves as a tourist gateway to national parks of southern Utah.
