Port Huron

Located 60 miles north east of downtown Detroit, Port Huron is a significant port/shipping center on the Great Lakes, and ths self proclaimed Maritime Capital of the Great Lakes. It is also a major transportation hub served by two, Class One freight rail lines, Amtrak passenger rail, and two interstate freeways. The city lies directly opposite Sarnia, Ontario on the other side of the Saint Clair River, where it empties into Lake Huron.
