Huaibei City, also known as "Xiangcheng", is a prefecture level city under the jurisdiction of Anhui Province. It is located in the northern part of Anhui Province, with a slightly sloping terrain from northwest to southeast. It belongs to the warm temperate semi humid monsoon climate zone, with a total area of 2741 square kilometers. As of October 2022, the city has three districts and one county under its jurisdiction.

More than 4000 years ago, the eleventh generation ancestor of Shang Tang built a city on the southern foot of Xiangshan Mountain.
