Changzhou is a historical and cultural city with a history of over 3200 years. On January 1, 1953, Changzhou was designated as a provincial city. In 2015, Wujin District and Qishuyan District of Changzhou City were abolished and a new Wujin District was established. There are 36 graded tourist attractions, including 3 national 5A scenic spots, 11 national 4A scenic spots, 14 3A scenic spots, and 8 2A scenic spots. Six key villages for rural tourism at or above the provincial level. At the end of the year, there were 31 star rated hotels and 212 travel agencies in the city
