Zoetermeer

Zoetermeer is a city in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. "Zoetermeer", translated into English, means "Sweet Lake". When the building of the city is completed in a few years, Zoetermeer will be the third-biggest city in the province of South Holland, after Rotterdam and The Hague.
For the last 35 years Zoetermeer has rapidly grown due to suburbanization. Many residents from The Hague and Rotterdam moved to Zoetermeer in the 1970's.
