Description
Tallest dam in Austria. The artificial lake it creates delivers water to Galgenbichl Pump Storage Power Station
with 120 MW generation capacity.
The lake also get its water by pump operation of Galgenbichl Pump Storage Station, which tooks place at night when there is few electricity demand. Hereby
water of Galgenbichl Artificial Lake is pumpd in the lake created by Köhlbrein Dam.
