Description
- Architect: V.I. Simonovich.
- Originally built in a Brutalist style, the hotel was known as Turist Hotel ("Tourist Hotel"); in the late 2000's, the building was refurbished as Amaks Hotel, and the facade was remodeled extensively using new glass curtain wall features; at the top, a new art piece was added, which complements an existing composition of Soviet-era reliefs at the base.
