Description
Architect: Weightman & Bullen Architects

Radio City Tower, which was named until 1999 St. John's Beacon, was primary constructed as chimney for the heating system of nearby St. John's Shopping Centre. As it is much taller than other chimneys constructed for the heating system of a mall, carrying a basket with a touristic area and many transmission antennas, it is often considered as telecommunication or television tower.

- The observation level was originally a revolving restaurant, but went out of business just after 20 months. Mostly recently, the obsevation level is home to the local commercial radion station Radio City.
