• There is a legend that Kaaba was built by Adam so it is the first building in the Earth. Ibrahim and Ismail rebuilt the Kaaba on the old foundations (-2000). In 693 he had the remnants of al-Zubayr's Kaaba razed, and rebuilt on the foundations set by the Quraysh.
